Class of 2019 Graduation Information

Please see below for important upcoming dates and deadlines that are specific to 8th grade graduation. Please read carefully!


8th Grade Pictures- February 20th 

Retakes- March 26th    

All students will take formal photos. Please make sure students are dressed appropriately. A letter from the picture company with more detailed information is forthcoming.

Graduation Cap and Gowns

The full graduation pack will be $55.00, which includes cap, gown, tassel, and autograph book. Payment is due before February 16th and can be paid in cash to the Main Office or via the online link. If payment is not received on time, the cap and gown will NOT be ordered.

Other Graduation Costs

We will be hosting a fundraiser to help to offset the additional costs for graduation. In years past, costs have been around  $75 per person so we are going to try to lower that amount as much as possible.


Baby Pictures Needed

For this years’ yearbook, we need a baby picture of each student. A digital file is preferable. You can take a picture of the picture with your phone. Please send via email to Dr. Albani or add directly to the Dropbox Link below. If you need to send a hard copy, please make sure it is labeled so that the picture can be returned. This is due February 15th.

Luncheon – June 7th

Get excited for a boat ride, food, music, and dancing for this year’s luncheon! The PTO is again generously sponsoring this event. Transportation to Navy Pier will be provided by the school and students must be in attendance at school that day in order to participate.

*In order to be eligible to attend, students must meet the graduation requirements, as well as have a cumulative passing grade for all classes in Quarters 3 and 4.

Awards Assembly-June 11th

This will be held in the afternoon at LaSalle II. All students are eligible to attend.


Picnic – June 13th

All 8th grade students are eligible to attend the picnic at LaSalle II. This event is planned and organized by 8th grade parents. If you are interested in volunteering to plan and organize, please let us know!

Graduation Day- June 14th

This will be held at Clemente High School at 10:30am. Students must meet CPS graduation requirements in order to participate in the ceremony. Seats are first-come, first-serve and no tickets are needed. Doors will open at 10:15am. If you arrive before that time, you will be asked to stay outside and no seating will be provided whilte outside the building. Please plan accordingly if you have family members who are unable to stand for long periods of time.
