Please see below for important upcoming dates and deadlines that are specific to 8th grade graduation. Please read both sides carefully!

8th Grade Pictures- January 29th        

All students will take formal photos. Please make sure students are dressed appropriately.

Graduation Cap and Gowns

The full graduation pack will be $55.00, which includes cap, gown, tassel, and autograph book. Payment is due before February 21st and can be paid in cash to the Main Office or via the online link. If payment is not received on time, the cap and gown will NOT be ordered.

Pictures Needed

  • Baby Pictures- For this years’ yearbook, we need a baby picture of each student. A digital file is preferable. You can take a picture of the picture with your phone. Please send via email to Dr. Albani at laalbani@cps.edu. If you need to send a hard copy, please make sure it is labeled so that the picture can be returned. This is due February 21st.
  • Pictures through the years at LaSalle II- We will do a slideshow of our graduates through the school years. Please send directly to Ms. Clay at bmclay@cps.edu .

Luncheon – June 5th 

Get excited for a boat ride, food, music, and dancing for this year’s luncheon! The PTO is again generously sponsoring this event. Transportation to Navy Pier will be provided by the school and students must be in attendance at school that day in order to participate. Also, this is a student-only event.

  • In order to be eligible to attend, students must meet the graduation requirements, as well as have a cumulative passing grade for all classes in Quarters 3 and 4.

Awards Assembly-June 9th

This will be held 1:30pm at LaSalle II. All students are eligible to attend and all family members are invited to attend.

Picnic – June 10th

All 8th grade students are eligible to attend the picnic at LaSalle II. This event is planned and organized by 8th grade parents. Tiffany Wilson has volunteered to organize so if you would like to help out, please email her at: tiffdaone@aol.com.

Graduation Day- June 11th

This will be held at Westinghouse High School (3223 W. Franklin Blvd.) at 12:30pm. Students must meet CPS graduation requirements in order to participate in the ceremony. Seats are first-come, first-serve and no tickets are needed. Doors will open at 12:15pm.
