On October 14th we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Track-a-Thon. This event is an extremely important part of our school year. It is an event that all students are able to participate in which helps to strengthen our bond as a school community. Also, this is one of the only fundraiser’s that the school itself organizes. We use the proceeds to fund field trips, supplies, guest speakers, etc. Use the link below to send in your pledge for the Track-a-Thon.
For the Track-a-thon to be as successful as it can, we are in need of approximately 12 volunteers to help run the event and to count laps. Volunteers would report to school between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m.for a brief meeting and distribution of materials. The volunteer responsibilities would include counting laps for students by marking the student cards, motivating the student efforts, and assist with organizing the students as they start and stop. All students will participate in the Track-a-thon on the field track. If weather is inclement, track-a-thon will take place in the gymnasium. The hours of the Track-a-Thon are 8:00am to 12:40pm.
*In the event that school is not session on October 14th, we will reschedule the track-a-thon to a later date.
