Book Drive, 2/25-2/26

Hello, readers! We’re delighted to announce a book drive to benefit Open Books, one of Chicago’s most active literacy nonprofits. All books we collect will help support literacy experiences for tens of thousands of readers each year. Every kind of book is welcome — fiction, nonfiction, kids’ books, cookbooks, foreign language books, dictionaries, encyclopedia, etc. CD’s and DVD’s are also welcome As long as they’re in good condition, Open Books will put them to good use, and all donations are tax-deductible. Each donor will also receive a coupon for $5 off a $10 purchase at Open Books!

Our book drive will run from February 25th to February 26th, and book collection will take place near the security desk at the main entrance and on the first floor near the middle star way.

To participate, just drop your books, CD’s and DVD’s in the box, and put your name on the sheet that will be posted at each box. Your coupon and donation receipt will be provided to you by March 2nd. Thanks for helping us make a difference for literacy in our city. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hanna in Room 114.
