Kiss and Go Update
From Kiss and Go Committee Chair: Irene Fiorentinos
Morning Kiss N Go on the Wolcott side is open to all grades and will start running the first week. No preregistration is needed and the rules are simple:
- Follow the parent volunteers’ directions as to where to stop and let them open the car doors.
- Do not come out of your car to help your child – if they need help or extra hugs please park further down the block and walk them.
- Do not stop in the middle of the street to let even older kids out because they can get hurt when crossing through the cars in the Kiss N Go line, and they also slow down the line.
We are usually opening doors from 7:35 when school staff is in the playground to supervise children until 7:45 when first bell rings. We wrap up when second bell rings at 7:55.
Afternoon Kiss N Go, which takes place on the Honore side only, will start the second week. It is open to Kindergarten through 3 grade and needs pre-registration. Parents need to pick up a registration form from office, return it and get their placards from Mr. Ross before they can start using it. A couple more volunteers for afternoon are also needed from 2:40 to about 3:00 p.m.
Please volunteer to help, we need Last year some of our most dedicated helpers were parents who were walking their children to school.
