This month our 1st Graders have been teaching the school about Black History Month. Each day over the loudspeaker a 1st grader has been reading a short biography of influential African Americans. Great job to our speakers!

The Science Olympiad Team participated in the Chicago Invitational on Saturday, February 4th at Westinghouse College Prep. Charlie H. and John J. placed first in Bottle Rockets Olivia Q. and Aylee S. placed second in Optics Oliva Q. and Ashley S. placed third in Write It Do It Michael K. and John J. placed second n Hovercraft.
The Elementary Science Olympiad meets every other week. They study topics including anatomy, aerodynamics, physiology, rocks and minerals.tcp.
